Ally the Christmas Elf

Ally just KNEW that Santa was going to be sending a GIRL elf this year.    She was right and luckily Santa found a girl elf willing to come visit.    Ally named her Ally, of course.   Next year, she says Santa will send the boy elf back for Ian.   haha    Ally the elf was quite the trouble maker, though!    Here are a few of her elfcapades!

Bad mom forgot to set up the advent calendars.   The elf got the candies and fixed them all up and made a mess with the candies!

This night she must have thought it would be fun to go swinging!   She tied a piece of ribbon from the ceiling fan and was hanging there the next morning.    Another night, she made a zip line across the living room!    She should have tried out for the X games or something.

Ian was never 100% sure the elf was real, but he was unsure enough to mention what he was thinking.    He cut the elf down from the ribbon and she landed on the ground.   Later, he was hugging the elf and telling her he was sorry for that.   You know...just in case she were to tell Santa what he did.   haha

Sprinkles wasn't too sure about this elf.

Snowball fight!!!   The elf and Ally's favorite cat built forts and had a little snowball fight.   The kids thought this was the best thing!!

The elf was really bored and decided to play Connect 4 with the webkinz penguin and snowman.   I guess the cat was still upset over the snowball fight and didn't want to play!   Sprinkles is still not so sure about this elf and is investigating.

All this hard work being mischievous is taking the toil on the poor little elf.   The kids found her in their bathroom taking a marshmallow bubble bath.   Ally found this incredibly funny!

The elf brought them a surprise from the North Pole.   It was Sonic and Mario at the Winter Olympic games.   She made sure it was lots of fun, though!

The elf didn't make it back from the North pole before the kids got up this morning.   When we came in the door from school this afternoon, she was hanging by her toes from the ceiling fan.   The kids thought that was funny since we joke that we will hang them by the ceiling fan when they are being mischievous!

I think the elf was hinting that we were taking way to long getting the kids trees up in the room.   She got into the storage box and got the lights and garland out!   She even had the baggie of little ornaments out to play with!!    Sneaky little elf!

The kids have had this game for months and had never opened it!!   The elf decided that they needed to be reminded that they had it.   You know, Santa won't be presents if you aren't going to actually play with them!!!    The kids played and played with this game!   Who knew it was so fun!

The elf brought the kids a Tom and Jerry Christmas DVD and some iced sugar cookies.   They both declared that those were the best cookies they had ever eaten.   :)

As her last trick, the elf got Santa to stop in TN and bring their presents from Memo.   They were so happy that they didn't have to wait all week to get their presents from Memo!

Do you know how many times I got outbid on this Super Mario Sunshine game on ebay?   Four...at least!   The elf found that game and brought it to Ian.    I wish I had magical elf powers.   Unfortunately, the game didn't work when Ian tried to play it.    I tracked down some Santa magic and it was working again.    Ian was so very happy and Ally LOVES her Catz game.   They were in heaven all weekend!!
