The kids helped PawPaw pick the last mess of butter beans from their garden on Friday. Ally and Ian both had a blast trying to find the pods with little beans inside. After they got tired of that, they went to the neighbor's garden and started throwing little sticks into a little fire she had going in her garden. They both REEKED of wood smoke after that! I like the smell of burning wood, but my allergies do not! They told me they were very careful and that PawPaw was watching them so they wouldn't get hurt. Ian said he didn't get close to the fire, at all! haha
