We had a yard sale this weekend and the kids thought it would be fun to have a Lemonade stand...after I suggested it of course. Ian's said before he'd like to do one, but we don't live in a high traffic area. So, they were ALL over having a Lemonade stand and Ally thought they needed to sell cookies, too. So, lemonade and chocolate chip cookies. I told them that next time we should sell milk and muffins. haha

Getting these two to smile at the same time is a chore!! However, the look Ally is making is priceless. She's such a clown lately!

They decorate their own signs. Ian's was the cookies sign and Ally did the lemonade sign. Ally used sparkle crayons to decorate it with lots and lots of flowers. There's also a couple cats on her poster. Ian had lots of spirals. He also wrote on there "I love mommy", but it really looked like "I love money". Either could be true with him! haha
Grandma and PawPaw surprised the kids and came down to buy a cookie and some lemonade from them. Ally had told me to tell Grandma she could come buy one, but it was a long long way to drive for just a cookie! Ian had to show PawPaw how much money they made! They made 26 dollars...with a couple dollars donation from Grandma. So, they probably made 22 dollars all on their own. Some people would just donate to the cookie fund and that just amazed the kids.
They were telling Grandma and PawPaw all about their cookie and Lemonade stands. One other funny thing from the day was whenever Ian would see a vehicle coming down the hill, he would start yelling "CUSTOMER CUSTOMER...MAN YOUR BATTLE STATIONS! haha He's been playing Star Wars on the computer A LOT...bet you couldn't tell.
