The kids and Dad made these bears before he left for Iraq. The bears generally stay in their room, but they didn't get as attached to them as I thought they might. Ally is more attached to hers than Ian, but Ian sleeps with a patch from Daddy's uniform. It was storming here tonight and Ally decided she wanted her Daddy bear to protect her. It was a little strange to walk past her room and hear Thad's voice. It took me a minute to realize what she had in the room with her!!
