Meet Red and Silly

Ian got a hermit crab for Valentine's day. Unfortunately, he meet an early demise a couple days after we got him. So, we got another one and a companion for him. So....meet Silly (purple) and Red. Ally has laid claim to Silly...thus the name! Ian's favorite color is red...so he had to have one with a red crab. We have since moved them to our old aquarium we cleaned up and turn into a crabitat! Red seems to really be a hermit....he buries himself and only comes out LATE at night. Then, it's just to get food and water and back into hiding he goes. We finally dug him out just to make sure he was still alive. Silly is awake during the day which makes Ally happy. This weekend, we'er going to go buy another crab and a few shells for them. Ian is hoping his new crab won't be such a CRAB! haha
