First Shiner at School

Ian's first injury at school resulted in a black eye. He ran in front of the swings just as Nathan was swinging. His face made contact with Nathan's cowboy boot. Ian didn't want to go to the nurses office after they came in from recess. He promised Mrs. Richards that it didn't hurt and he didn't need to go. She thinks he was afraid of getting in trouble. He got a lovely black eye and still almost a week later has a dark circle under his eye and still has the scrap. He sure looks proud of his injuries! haha
